And beware of the opinions of men, even if they beautify it for you with speech. So the affair is young and you are upon a Straight Path with regards to it.”

Shaykh-ul-Islaam ibn Taymiyyah: “Whoever deviates from the Madhhab and Tafseer of the Sahaaba and Tabi’een to that which opposes it then he has erred in that rather (he has) innovated."

Previous relationships

My previous relationships

Have not found many sisters whom are striving to seek knowledge of Islam, they always seem to seek the knowledge of their husbands. So it has been hard for me to find someone who loves Allah and follows his commandment. I alway from that temp. shyness on the sit-downs; then it is something different. I want the best for my brothers and sister in islam; but I can not accept disobedience to Allah or myself as the Husband in matters of good.

Personal statement

Asalaamu Alaykum Warahmatulillahi Wabarakatu,

I am very simple; I just seek a sincere person. One who loves Islam loves to make tawbah to Allah seeking the face of Allah. Those who know Salafiyyah. Those who maintain the correct Islamic character not allowing other people affect their seeking the reward and pleasure of Allah.

As for renouncing the love of praise and commendation then this is made easy by your knowing that there is no one who can praise you such that it would benefit you, or censure and vilify you such that it would harm you save Allaah alone. This is what occurs in the hadeeth in which the Arab said to the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), "my being praised is adornment and my being vilified is disgrace," to which the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "that is (for) Allaah."

Allaah said,

"Be patient! Indeed the Promise of Allaah is true and let not those who are devoid of certainty discourage you from conveying (the message)." [al-Rum (30):60]

"We have made from amongst them leaders, guiding under Our Command when they were patient and believed in Our Signs with certainty." [al-Sajdah (32):24]

Tafseer - Alu'si, Rul-ul-Ma'ani, Vol. 22, p. 89
"Ibn Jarir Tabari and Ibn Al-Mundhir described the method of wearing the jalbaab according to Ibn Abbas (ra) and Qatadah (ra). The sheet should be wrapped around from the top, covering the forehead, then bringing one side of the sheet to cover the face below the eyes so that most of the face and the upper body is covered. This will leave both eyes uncovered (which is allowed in necessity).
