Words that describe me | Simple, Shy, Caring, Cautious, Fun loving | | Best aspect of my personality | Wallaahu a’lam, I believe its most just if the answer to this comes from other than me. | | Worst aspect of my personality | There's always room for improvement and enhancement in everything. | | The thing I would most like to change about myself | I pray that I could worhsip Allaah with Ihsaan! | | My bad habits | Hmm... Allaahu a’lam. Feel free to ask me about anything in particular you are concerned about. | | People I admire / my role-models | Without a doubt, Muhammad Sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam! and the prophets & messengers 'alayhimus salaatu was salaam, the mothers of the believers (ummahaatul mu'mineen), then the companions radiyallaahu anhum, then the rightly guided Imaams (Inheritors of the Prophets). | | The thing I would most like to change about the world | Of all the evils that take place in this Dunya, Shirk is the greatest. So naturally a world upon pure monotheism, mankind worshipping Allaah Tabaraka wa Ta’ala alone is most desirable. That being said, everything happens according to the Qadr of Allaah and His Decree is Perfect. Indeed Allaah knows best. | | How important is money in my life | Depends on other things I have | | Smoking | I never smoke | | Driving | I do not have a driving licence | | Brothers | I have 2 brothers | | Sisters | I have no sisters | | In the social setting, I am | Shy at first | | My favourite food | Seafood! Alhamdulillaah, I have become quite health conscious in the recent past and I like eating healthy food. | | On a typical day, I would wear | ALWAYS in hijaab when I encounter a non-maharam & wear nikaab to public places.
| | | |
Am I a convert to Islam? | No | | How important is Islam to me | There is nothing except Islam | | How practicing I am | I pray more than 5 times a day | | Ramadan | I fast in Ramadan | | Hajj | I have not performed Hajj, but intend to perform it | | I am | Sunni | | I follow | A madhab not listed here | | My religious affiliation is | Salafi Alhamdulillah | | My views on Islam | It is the HAQQ from Allaah, The Lord of all creation! Islam is the best thing that can happen to a person! It brings one out of darkness into light! It is the ONLY path of salvation and The ONLY one acceptable to Allaah!

My interests | I am very passionate about learning. I cannot think of knowledge more beautiful than the knowledge of our Lord, the Most High. Indeed in the remembrance of Allaah does the heart find tranquility! I love to spend time in contemplating upon the signs in the creation of Allaah. I'm fascinated by Allaah's creation! Subhanallaah! When one realizes the greatness of the creation, it leads to the appreciation of the greatness of the Creator, Alhamdulillaah! I love to read, especially books on Islam! I enjoy the company of the righteous and beneficial conversations.
I am very friendly by nature and love to have a good time with family & friends. From that which I adore & love are children. They make me so happy with their antics! When I am with them, I become one of them (smiles). I am a playful and fun loving person. I like to tease around. I am serious when I should be serious & playful when I am playful. There's a time for this & there's a time for that! It's always good to loosen up a bit :)
I am a nature lover. I love to visit places of natural beauty. From the places I love is the beach (Wow! I love the sound of the waves, aroma of the sea breeze, the sand, sea shells, sun set etc), waterfalls, mountains and hills, rivers/streams & lakes. I take pleasure in bringing sunshine & cheer for those around. It's a joy of its own! I try hard to stick to the principle that we should love for the other what we love for ourselves.
I like to try out new recipes & innovate in the kitchen (this bid'ah is restricted to the kitchen & non religious issues ONLY). Oh dear god! This reminds me of a rather pathetic incident. Sometime ago I was asked "If you say bid'ah is haraam, then why do you innovate with your food, you should ONLY eat what the prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam ate, and you should bring down a camel from Arabia and ride on it instead of your car? Subsequently, I was accused of bid'ah due to my "crime"!!? And I was also told that the moment I say shirk, I'll be found guilty of committing shirk"!! Pathetic indeed! Allaahu Musta'an!
I like teaching, but not necessarily teaching at a school/institute. I prefer to teach at home (the best place for a woman is at home, isn't it?). I used to teach Accounting for GCE London O/Level students in my late teens. That being said, what I would really love to teach with all my heart is the Deen of Allaah! It's only natural to love to teach what you like most. But there's still a LONG way to go for that Insha Allaah. First things first, I need to be well grounded in knowledge and act upon it (because knowledge without action is not knowledge in reality!), then if one day Allaah grants me the Honour of eligibility in Calling to Him and teaching His deen, I would do it with great pleasure. The prophets left behind neither dinars nor dirhams, but the knowledge that Allaah bestowed upon them. And whoever inherits it from them has amassed great wealth.

The Book of Allaah! | | Books I am currently reading | At the moment I am pretty much occupied with learning Arabic. I am reading a few books on Arabic Grammar and Verbs. | | Newspapers / magazines I read | I read books (Islamic) | | TV programmes I watch | only Educational and beneficial Documentaries, news, sometimes live salaah from masjid al haram.

Level of education | University degree | | Type of work | Student | | Industry | Not applicable | | Job title | Student | | Description of my job | I didn’t complete my Degree programme (Business and IT) and CIM (chartered Institute of Marketing - UK), I chose to give it up for Islamic reasons, as co-eduation is impermissible. I have never worked except in our own business with my brothers, but I have given that up too, Alhamdulillaah. I am only interested in one business now, the business of seeking beneficial knowledge and investing as much time as I could in that. Got lots to catch up on! May Allaah guide me and make it easy! Aameen!

Age |
More than 25 years Less than 38 years
How important is physical appearance? | Somewhat important | | How important is intelligence? | Very important | | My ideal match | A brother who fears Allaah and one who is upon the correct aqeedah and manhaj. He should be one who desires to follow Islam upon the understanding of the Salafus Saaliheen, what was sufficient for them is sufficient for us! He should be someone who has that faith, courage and sincerity to do what is right, even if it requires him to go against what he was brought up on, his community/majority, and/or his hawaa (desire).
A brother with good manners and characteristics, mainly truthfulness and honesty, gratitude (Firstly to His Lord and then to the creation, especially his parents), patience, one who loves for his brother what he loves for himself, one who knows the importance of seeking knowledge, one who is keen on increasing/strengthening his Eemaan and safeguarding it.
I mentioned above that Intelligence is very important to me. Intelligence is not necessarily in accordance with one’s level of secular education and qualifications. Although the Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam was illiterate (ummi), he was a VERY intelligent man (Even before his prophet hood, Masha Allaah). So just for the record, I will not be judging your intelligence based on your degrees and PhD’s. It’s more than mere secular qualifications.
I am not expecting unreasonable/unrealistic perfection in my husband, for neither am I perfect nor is any other soul. A person is measured to be good based upon his good dominating his evil. The degree of goodness depends on the level of domination of one’s good over his evil.
Last but not least, I would really appreciate if the brother would be a loving person, friendly by nature, one who likes to have a good time (within the boundaries of Islam) & with a good sense of humour (smile).
| | My worst match | A kaafir/Mushrik! That’s the worst possible match for any Muslimah!! Audobillaah!!
Then comes the Innovator and those opposing the Sunnaah.
One who doesn’t establish the salaah or one who is negligent/careless with regards to it.
Two-faced person (not in the literal sense of actually having two faces!)
One who is ungrateful to his parents.
A lying, deceitful and treacherous person.
The arrogant and proud one, a snob who thinks he is "it".
A wicked and cruel person.
One who has violent love for wealth and chases after the dunya! | | Bad habits I could not tolerate | Shirk! Shirk! Shirk! I cannot and will not tolerate a “shirky shirkerson”. Shirk is the most horrible, repulsive and hated action to me!
And then reviling, opposing and mocking the Sunnaah.
Bid’ah and those things that are haraam!
I can be a very tolerating and patient person when it comes to anything apart from these things, Alhamdulillaah!
| | How I would like to pursue a contact made on this website | Wali, or maybe a few initial emails exchanged with the permission & supervision of my Wali Insha Allaah. | | I am planning to get married | As soon as I find someone to marry | | My ideal wedding ceremony | Conducted according to the Sunnaah. | |
| | |
After marriage, I would like to live | In our own place | | I would like to have | More than 9 children | | The most important things I would like to teach my children are | First and foremost Aqeedah, the correct creed of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah! To hear and obey, the importance and obligation of holding onto the rope of Allaah and that Success only lies in Submission and obedience to Allaah, The Most High. There is no good except that the Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam guided us to it and there is no evil except that he warned against it! Is there any better guidance or teaching other than this? | | In the future, I would like to live | In a different country | | My plans for the future | To seek knowledge of Allaah, The Most High, His prophet sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallm, His deen. And then to HEAR and OBEY! To Call to that, and To patiently persevere upon that. | | Where/what/how I see myself being in 5 years' time | Wallaahu a'lam! If I would be alive by the Qadr of Allaah five years from now, I pray that I would be a much better servant of Allaah. I seek refuge with Allaah from straying away or from being in the same level as I am now! And I hope to be a good wife and mother Insha Allaah.

It is reported from Al-Hasan Al-Basrî – Allâh have mercy on him – that he said:
The life of this world is made up of three days: yesterday has gone with all that was done; tomorrow, you may never reach; but today is for you so do what you should do today.
Al-Bayhaqî, Al-Zuhd Al-Kabîr p197.
When Abû Bakr Al-Siddîq was on his deathbed he called ‘Umar - Allah be pleased with them - and said:
Fear Allah O ‘Umar, and know that Allah has deeds to be done for Him in the day which He will not accept if done at night, and He has deeds to be done for Him at night which He will not accept if done during the day. He will not accept extra (nâfilah) deeds unless you fulfill the obligatory deeds. The scales of those whose scales will be weighty on the Day of Resurrection will only be weighty because they followed the truth in this life and it was weighty to them. And scales in which the truth will be placed tomorrow truly deserve to be heavy. And the scales of those whose scales will be light on the Day of Resurrection will only be light because they followed falsehood in this life and it was a light matter to them. And scales in which falsehood will be placed tomorrow truly deserve to be light.
Allah the Exalted has mentioned the people of Paradise and mentioned them in the context of their best deeds, and overlooked their evil deeds, so when I remember them I say to myself: I fear that I will not be included with them. And Allah the Exalted has mentioned the people of Hell and mentioned them in the context of their worst deeds and rejected their best deeds, so when I remember them I say: I hope I won’t be amongst them. Allah’s worshippers should always be in a state of hope and fear, they shouldn’t wish flimsy wishes about Allah and neither should they despair of Allah’s mercy.
If you keep to this advice of mine, no one who is not with you now should be more beloved to you than death – and it is sure to come to you. But if you disregard this advice, no one who is not with you now should be more hated to you than death – and you cannot escape it.
Abû Nu’aym, Hilyah Al-Awliyâ` Vol.1 p18; and Ibn Al-Jawzî, Sifah Al-Safwah.
