Those who know me can judge that.

Perfectionist. Sometimes, get too involved in things I do because I like to do them properly.

I would like to work on my religion more, more focus. And learn more in general. But I guess it is a lifelong process.

Maybe I get too absorbed in things I do sometimes.

The Profit (salah Allahu alihi wa salam) and the Sahaba.

If all people believed in God and followed his path, then the world would be a great place. If there are things around us in the world that don't seem right, it is all our own doing. If we can change ourselves, and improve our relationship with God, then the world would become a better place, In Shaa Allah.

Things from more than one madhab

- We are travelers in this life. We should travel light and keep our eyes on our destination.

- Islam is a method to follow, it's a life long process, we have to keep working on it, to become better Muslims.

- Culture and misinformation get into the mix that people end up calling Islam. It is important to purify religion, and seek our answers in the Ketab and Sunnah.

I'm interested is so many things, but mostly reading and learning about Islam. I enjoy reading Quran and Hadith and traditional Islamic texts.

Islam is a way of life and therefore should be a part of political life, especially in Islamic countries. I think, International politics, as they stand, are pretty messed up.

Was thinking about getting married a few years ago to someone but it didn't work out. Other than that I've been quite absorbed in the work I've been doing.

- Someone I can have a good conversation with and trust. A true partner.

- Someone who likes exploring and learning about Islam and applying what she learns/reads. Is serious about religion and wants to learn more and spend her life learning how to become a better Muslim and get closer to Allah.

- Can speak/read Arabic.

- Someone who enjoys learning/teaching and wants to teach her children religion and everything else. (I do not believe in the education system we have and would like my children to learn in an Islamic traditional way. So a mother who is also an educator to her children is very important.)

- Someone who's not too concerned about donia and understands that we are here to worship Allah and that everything else is secondary to this main purpose.

- Someone who believes that Islam is the Ketab and Sunnah and doesn't just follow popular religion without questioning. The majority of people, unfortunately, seem to mix culture with religion. A lot of what they believe is religion is just culture. I'm
looking for someone who can tell the difference, and is willing to question such things. We should only be guided by Kitab and Sunnah. culture should should have no weight whatsoever on our decisions. The only culture we should have is Islam.

- Someone who is OK about polygamy. Although I'm not necessary planning on marrying more than one, I think a Muslim women with a strong iman and a good understanding of Islam should not have a problem with polygamy.

- Someone who doesn't believe.

- Someone who thinks that religion is something separate from life and something extra we do in our spare time.

- Someone who gets most of her religious misinformation/education secondhand from friends and family rather than read and lookup things to find what Ketab and Sunnah has to say.

- Someone who is looking for a husband who chases after material things. (I'm surly not interested in worldly competition.)

Islamic and very simple.

In our own place

Arabic, memorize Quran, read Hadith, and classical texts. And of course in terms of manners to have compassion and have the manners of a good Muslim.

In a different country

- Learn more about my religion and practice it with my family.

- Live by Quran and Sunnah.

- Work on becoming a better Muslim.

- Serve Islam and Muslims as much as I can.

- Eventually, I would like to live in Mecca or Madinah if possible.

Only Allah knows.

Growing up in a modern Islamic culture has many disadvantages. Modern Islamic countries are not really that Islamic anymore. Muslims, here, seem to take Islam for granted. In a way it becomes a habit. I know this is a generalization, but it does apply to the majority.

My level of closeness to God has fluctuated with time, but not my belief. I grew up in a Muslim family, however, it's only recently that I realized one cannot stay somewhere in the middle, be a moderate Muslim. Observant Muslims are seen by many, as ultra conservative, but the truth is: there is only one right path and we have to follow it as best as we can.

So I am trying to stay on the path as much as I can and searching for someone with similar views and convictions. Hopefully, we can help each other do the right thing. We are just passing through life. It's all just a test.
