I keep a beard according to the Sunnah.

I don't like to argue and am very quick to forgive Mashallah. I don't know of a single person who hates me Mashallah. You can go to my masjid and practically everybody knows who I am and they all can vouch for my character Mashallah. I lower my gaze and people have commented on my hayyah Mashallah and the fact that I am rarely ever seen without a smile.

I take after the Sahabi An-Nuayman ibn Amr (the practical joker among the Sahabah). I'm a really funny bro who loves to joke and play halaal pranks on other brothers. I'm well known for the pranks that I have pulled on people. And along these lines I am very playful person so I demand thesame from my future wife Inshallah.

I laugh too much, but Alhumdulillah I'm working on it.

My ideal match would be a Muslimah 22-40. Race is not an issue for me. Single or widowed (no divorcees please) who loves Allah, the Prophet (S), the Sahabah, and the pious predecesors. Oh and nature as well. I'd prefer that the sister at least have a college education Inshallah.


Oh and I'd prefer that she wears AT LEAST jilbab, niqab prefered. And finally I'd prefer that she has lead a pure life with no previous haraam relations with men (I have never done anything haraam with women eventhough I was offered, so I expect the same from my future wife).

So to sum it up the following qualities are a MUST:

* I'd like a wife who is like a mirror image of me, but more pious.

* One who is chaste and has never married (the exception being only for a widow) or done zina.

* One who prays Tahajjud REGULARLY (at least 3x a week).

* One who cries during salah not only in time of stress but in times of joy as well.

* One who has a good grasp of the english language.

* A fun easy going person who maintains her hayya and is not loose around men.

* One who strives to make Allah pleased with her by enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.

* A woman who loves to laugh and is as playful as I am.

* A woman who can teach me about Sabr.

* A woman who can teach me how to love Allah more.

* A woman whose Iman is boosted by the simple blessings of life.

* A woman whose tongue is moist with the dhicker of Allah and is at awe when seeing the beauty of His creation, plants, flowers, animals, etc.

* A mature woman who is not a 12 year old mentally and a 24 year old physically.

* An attractive person who takes care of herself.

It's simple - I've lived a halal life thus far Mashallah. I was afforded opportunities to enter into haraam relations, but I kept Allah in mind always. I lower my gaze, don't mix with sisters, and don't shake women's hands. I must stress the fact that I'm not a rich guy, but don't get me wrong, Allah (SWT, we can't praise Him enough) has blessed me in so many Iman boosting ways. I hang out with the poor and homeless, I wash the dead from my community, and I do other things that rich well to do Muslims don't. Why? Because it reminds me that there is more to life than money. If any sister reading this thinks that asbaab lies in wealth, DON'T CONTACT ME. However if you are a sister who has great tawakkul in Allah CONTACT ME INSHALLAH!

Oh and it has come to my attention that my profile ID "shunka" is a type of dog. When I found this out I was like, "AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I picked this name because it's the name of a famous tree hugger. Just goes to show you how much I love the environment.

Let me also add that MEN have been contacting me wanting to marry me. I guess it's because my ID sounds feminine. Believe me, I'M A GUY LOOKING TO GET MARRIED TO A WOMAN, NOT TO A MAN!
