Words that describe me | Caring, Creative, Witty, Sensitive, Intelligent
Best aspect of my personality | Masha Allah it is hard to say... I would guess that it is my love for islam and concern for the muslims, It would also be my humor... seriously... you would have to ask soemone who knows me, because its so hard to say... I like to make things light-hearted... I'm just an average sister....
Worst aspect of my personality | whoever marries me will have to be patient with my flaws... i would like to be totally honest with you, so you know what you will expect when you marry me, and not think you married a fraud, but Allah is most merciful to his creation, He forgives the sins of his servants when the people themselves do not... He has mercy upon his servents even when his servents arent merciful to eachother. Having said this, i will say the worse aspect of my personality are the sins that i commit... this is not to scare anyone off but this is the truth... and not to reveal that which Allah conceals of His servents' sins, i will not go into detail here... I am in much need of Allah's love, mercy and forgiveness... so when you see something from me that you dislike, i pray you handle it with patience and kindness, and i will reciprocate, and mkae du'aa for me as i will make du'aa for you. I cannot be any more clear about this... Human beings are perfectly imperfect, and that is why Allah has made for us At-tawbah...
The thing I would most like to change about myself | I myself need to work on my patience, though that is something that is earned through tests and struggle... oh how easy it would be if it just fell in our laps! I also would like to shore up some of my issues that would make home life more bearable, (timeliness, scheduling, cleanliness, did i say timeliness?) I would like to become a muslimah who does more of that which Allah loves and is pleased with.
My bad habits | Make du'aa in those things which may cause someone to be annoyed by it... we all have bad habits...
People I admire / my role-models | I admire the wives of the prophet sallahu alaihi wa sallam as an example for us women. I admire prophet ayyoob alaihis salaam as an example of resilience in the face of many difficulties and that our afflictions are only temporary. I admire one of the Imaams of the salaf Fudayl ibnu 'Iyyad, who came from a bad background to becoming one of the greatest of 'ulemaa rahimahullah. And i admire my parents, who know how to keep a marriage down nearly 40 years masha Allah.
The thing I would most like to change about the world | Allah does everything with wisdom, who am i to say what i want changed in the world? All i ask is that Allah guides me and keeps me firm in the face of fitan and fasaad.
How important is money in my life | Quite important
Smoking | I never smoke | |
Driving | I do not have a driving licence
Brothers | I have 2 brothers
Sisters | I have 2 sisters
My family | my immediate family are all muslims Alhamdulillah though we are at all different levels... we're pretty close, i'm the youngest in my family(the baby), so that entails a lot of things... protection, leniency, a bit spoiled, a sense of entitlement, though I ask Allah to help me in that this does not lead to kibr(unpraiseworthy pride)... masha Allah i will say I was raised very well, with good values, good manners, a sense of pride in islaam throughout my life... May Allah have mercy on my parents like they were merciful to me when i was small ameen!
