My Personality

Words that describe me

Caring, Creative, Witty, Sensitive, Intelligent

Best aspect of my personality

Masha Allah it is hard to say... I would guess that it is my love for islam and concern for the muslims, It would also be my humor... seriously... you would have to ask soemone who knows me, because its so hard to say... I like to make things light-hearted... I'm just an average sister....

Worst aspect of my personality

whoever marries me will have to be patient with my flaws... i would like to be totally honest with you, so you know what you will expect when you marry me, and not think you married a fraud, but Allah is most merciful to his creation, He forgives the sins of his servants when the people themselves do not... He has mercy upon his servents even when his servents arent merciful to eachother. Having said this, i will say the worse aspect of my personality are the sins that i commit... this is not to scare anyone off but this is the truth... and not to reveal that which Allah conceals of His servents' sins, i will not go into detail here... I am in much need of Allah's love, mercy and forgiveness... so when you see something from me that you dislike, i pray you handle it with patience and kindness, and i will reciprocate, and mkae du'aa for me as i will make du'aa for you. I cannot be any more clear about this... Human beings are perfectly imperfect, and that is why Allah has made for us At-tawbah...

The thing I would most like to change about myself

I myself need to work on my patience, though that is something that is earned through tests and struggle... oh how easy it would be if it just fell in our laps! I also would like to shore up some of my issues that would make home life more bearable, (timeliness, scheduling, cleanliness, did i say timeliness?) I would like to become a muslimah who does more of that which Allah loves and is pleased with.

My bad habits

Make du'aa in those things which may cause someone to be annoyed by it... we all have bad habits...

People I admire / my role-models

I admire the wives of the prophet sallahu alaihi wa sallam as an example for us women. I admire prophet ayyoob alaihis salaam as an example of resilience in the face of many difficulties and that our afflictions are only temporary. I admire one of the Imaams of the salaf Fudayl ibnu 'Iyyad, who came from a bad background to becoming one of the greatest of 'ulemaa rahimahullah. And i admire my parents, who know how to keep a marriage down nearly 40 years masha Allah.

The thing I would most like to change about the world

Allah does everything with wisdom, who am i to say what i want changed in the world? All i ask is that Allah guides me and keeps me firm in the face of fitan and fasaad.

How important is money in my life

Quite important

Smoking

I never smoke

Driving

Brothers

I have 2 brothers

Sisters

I have 2 sisters

My family

my immediate family are all muslims Alhamdulillah though we are at all different levels... we're pretty close, i'm the youngest in my family(the baby), so that entails a lot of things... protection, leniency, a bit spoiled, a sense of entitlement, though I ask Allah to help me in that this does not lead to kibr(unpraiseworthy pride)... masha Allah i will say I was raised very well, with good values, good manners, a sense of pride in islaam throughout my life... May Allah have mercy on my parents like they were merciful to me when i was small ameen!

In the social setting, I am

Shy at first

My favourite food

On a typical day, I would wear

hijab jilbab sometimes niqab

My views on Islam

i Follow the qur'an and sunnah upon the understanding of as salafus saalih insha Allah(may Allah accept), It is the pure unadulterated islam. the middle path, and I pray Allah guides me and this entire ummah upon this way.

My Interests

My interests

Learning about other cultures, Home Decor(i pick up the old issues of the home decor magazines from the library...) Do it yourself projects, History, Psychology, Crafts, fisging, boating, whatever you name it, i'll try it and probably get a kick out of it. but i am very interested in seeking knowledge, of the deen and the dunya, My parents took great care in fostering our intellectual growth, and exposed us to a wide array of things. Back in the day were were made fun of a bit, being called ghetto snobs and whatnot, But alhamdulillah, being raised in a loving muslim home is one of the greatest gifts Allah can give. I thank Allah for showing his immense and unlimited mercy on me, and thank my parents for raising me and ask for them both jannah, especially my deceased father. I also would like to learn a martial art to keep myself fit as well as to learn how to knock a sucka out.

My political views

the shari'ah... plain and simple... as for the politics of my country, i will talk about them in convos i try not to be ignorant of current affairs... but i do not participate in or prefer the kufr policies and thier proponents.

Previous relationships

My previous relationships

I was married for 5 years nearly 6, then got divorced. Any further details, the hows and the whys will be discussed later, insha Allah if you are really interested. Above all i ask if you are reading, you make du'aa for the brother, he is your muslim brother and is in need of Allah's mercy like we all are.

My ideal match

Age

More than 28 years
Less than 40 years

How important is physical appearance?

Depends on the rest of the person

How important is intelligence?

Very important

My ideal match

Someone Firm upon the deen, willing to engage in a fair exchange of learning and teaching from his wife, who takes great measures in his duties and rights upon his family, someone who is able and willing to accept my children and engage them and if need be, raise them like they would raise their own children. Someone who is patient, kind, very loving and affectionate, playful yet serious. My husband should be ambitious, intellectual, be either college educated or in school working toward that goal, and striviing to learn as much as he can about his religion, and have not only the desire, but plans to make hijrah.

My worst match

a kaffir, a mubtadi', abusive, mean, weak-minded, lazy no ambition, unaffectionate, shows little care for my children and ignores or mistreats them, irreligious, eye wandering, someone who lies and tries to cheat themselves and others.

Bad habits I could not tolerate

habits.... i could handle... but i cannot tolerate someone who disrespects and dishonors my muslim family... we are all at different levels, but if you are married to me you are apart of my family and i will not tolerate my husband behaving in a condescending manner toward my family, I also cannot tolerate a man who is unkind toward and not accepting of my two children... yes they have a father who is muslim.. but Allah knows best whose condition would be better to raise these young muslim children in correctly... They are mychildren whom i love dearly and if my husband loves me he must love them also...

How I would like to pursue a contact made on this website

if your are interested, contact me first thru the muslimintro.com site, then I will give you my brothers email address, as he does not want his emaill address listed here for phishing reasons.my father (rahimahullah) had his email address on here before and was constantly being subject to phishing emails.

I am planning to get married

In 18-24 months time

My ideal wedding ceremony

as long as there is no bid'ah involved, i like to celebrate my marriage. a note about the next question...

.....It is a man's right to have more than one wife, and i am afraid of the way i'd handle it, but i know its nothing i can stop nor would i even try to stop him from getting another wife... so do ya thing brotha... just be fair akhee!

My views on polygyny (a man having more than one wife)

I don't mind if my husband has another wife/wives

Plans for the future

After marriage, I would like to live

In our own place

I would like to have

2 children

The most important things I would like to teach my children are

I want to raise balanced children who love and value islam. I really want my sons to learn their deen at one of the islamic universities. I want to teach my children that they must work to improve the condition of the ummah. I want them to grow and remain upon the salafee manhaj.

In the future, I would like to live

In a different country

My plans for the future

Insha Allah i will like to finish school up to at least a master's degree, be married to a wonderful husband whom we give eachother our mutual rights that Allah has places over one another, and have made hijrah to a muslim country namely in as su'oodiyyah... i am open to any muslim country though... even malaysia (lol)

Where/what/how I see myself being in 5 years' time

ALLAHU A'ALAM. I want to finish my degrees, because i want to be able to have the option of working in an islamic environment and want to be more than qualified to do so. although, i'd rather MY HUSBAND WORKS ONLY.... but the reality in many muslim countries is that even the wife has to work... which is ok because the availability of working in an islamic gender seperate environment is better in those places.

Personal statement

bismillah

I think i have pretty much stated everything i wanted to convey in the profile...

I want to remind you, whether you are interested in my profile or not, to fear Allah, and hope for his mercy and forgiveness....

If you seek perfection, you will not get it here. if you seek a hot mama, you will not get that here either... If you desire a woman who is a muslimah who believes that the sunnah is best understood and practiced by those first 3 generations of muslims, a woman who strives to overcome her imperfections and has great care and compassion and open to learning from mistakes and compliant in her role as a wife and tries her best with the knowledge she has to give you your rights... someone who is not "everybody's friend" who doesnt talk on the phone and spread gossip and fitnah, and tries to run from drama and fitnah like youd run away from a dude in the street with an "i'm a rapist" t-shirt on.... if you desire these things... then take me into your consideration... I finally ask that Allah guides you to that which he loves and is pleased with and gives you from that which is good and beautiful and that he forgives you of your sins... ameen
