Personal statement

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

I'm a young Muslima from a good Muslim family, who's reserved but far from inarticulate. I love to smile and to be smiled at. I think Im easy going and easy to get along with. I have high standards and goals for myself but Alhamdulilah I am not caught up into materialism, I rather the akhirah inshallah over the dunya. Currently, Im in college and I have intentions (inshallah) to complete it. I enjoy a lot of domesticated activities; cooking, sewing, decorating and hosting activities. Though, that's not all there is to me. I love to learn and study a mixture of secular and Islamic subjects and I really enjoy a good long car ride. I've lived in the Middle East and north Africa and I would love to return to either place and study Arabic and be amongst the Muslims. Therefore, Arabic speaking brothers with children are a plus inshallah but not mandatory. Ideally, Im interested in meeting a Muslim man who is mature yet can easily crack a small or laugh at a good joke and doesn't mind watching a good documentary or sappy flick once in a blue moon. A goal oriented brother with a sense of honor and pride about himself, his family and this ummah. Someone who follows the Qur'an and Sunnah not only with their outward appearance but in their character, deeds and actions as well. A monogamous man (not already married) who desires a companion for the rest of his life who is easy to get along with and please, someone who smiles abundantly and can take a walk with me after fajr.
