My Personality

Words that describe me

Practical, Critical, Intelligent, Simple, Realistic

Best aspect of my personality

Those 5 words that describe me...hmmm, makes me look a bit too dry, and who 's gonna choose humble.. abit self defeating if you select that one...anyway the best aspect Allah knows best but I try and live my life by halal and haram, and am trying to get closer to Allah. I would never hit my wife, or abuse her physically, you can ask my wife!!!!
Inshallah I don't lie,
I am not usually fussed about the small things, eg. squeezing the toothpaste from the botom or the middle - although personally i prefer squeezing from the bottom - but i wont throw a tantrum or pick a fight because of that. But major things - especially if it effects children or the fardh duties would upset me, or if someone repeatedly doesn't listen.
You should expect me to love you, share with you, you should be my friend and companion as well as the others in my family. You should learn from me and me from you.
You should expect me to judge by Quran and Sunnah, and not tolerate haram things.

I like to play with kids, take them out, have some family time going out.. but usually the nice simple things.

I like eating out if there's a good place to eat, and i will probably expect you to have ideas on where to go.. its not fun having to decide yourself!!! besides, you have the right as well.

Enjoy watching tv with kids and wife.. even if its some cartoons! although barney does get on my nerves some times...

Go out with friends ocassionally, although i left most of them behind in the UK :(

I 'try' and keep fit... and maintain my figure for the lady or ladies as it maybe hopefully :)

although i am not a mental case with bulging rippling muscles, maybe a cross between a thin dude and bruce lee . lol

and i hate sports, i would rather watch something enjoyable with the family or wife or go out with them... anyday... versus watching cricket or football

At the same time I am not your typical person.. definitely unique...no one else like me on the earth...but then again i guess everyones different :$
put it this way not many people are like me...

Worst aspect of my personality

Hmm... let me think about it, you can get back to me on that one. None of us are perfect, if we were we would be like the angels or prophets - a'uzobillah.
We were born in a kufr society, and our viewpoint must be that our thoughts emotions and behaviour are most probably wrong or from the wrong basis, and thus we must always look to constantly improve / correct / better ourselves.
I am absolutely a rubbish cook, and can just about do pasta, chips, omelletes and fried egg, anything more complicated i would have to help you, when i am at home, or i will get the kids out of the way while you cook :)
Ummm... not the best at tidying up the bedroom.. i got to admit... althoug i can keep the kitchen, bathroom, living room clean, its just the bedroom..... i have to throw my clothesand things all over the place!!!?! :@

The thing I would most like to change about myself

Better organization, more reading, and more nafila (the things i would change are therefore implied)

My bad habits

Deja-vu...Hmm... let me think about it, you can get back to me on that one. I know I have some.Hers one though..Ummm... not the best at tidying up the bedroom.. i got to admit... although i can keep the kitchen, bathroom, living room clean, its just the bedroom..... i have to throw my clothes and things all over the place, for some unknown male primordial type of reason!!!?! :@

People I admire / my role-models

It would be wrong not to start with Muhammad(saw), after that i do look to the sahaba(ra) esp Musab ibn Umayr(ra)

The thing I would most like to change about the world

The following hadiths hint at what i would change / do........The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “Give glad-tidings to this Ummah of honour, establishment upon the earth, help and victory, and pre-eminence of the deen. Whosoever does an action of the Hereafter for a worldly motive, will have no portion of the Hereafter.” [Al-Hakim and Ahmad]
It is narrated by Ali (ra) who was the Khaleefah of the time that he once stood to deliver a speech when one of the Arab influentials, al ‘Asha’th ibnu Qays, objected at the existence of many non-Arab Muslims surrounding him (Ali). So Ali replied that these non-Arab Muslims are more active for this deen than the Arabs and then he narrated a Hadith that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) which emphasised that “they” will force this deen on you in the same way that you exerted the truth on them.....
...............Hey maybe non-Arabs aren't so bad then...
